As a coach at Turbine, I believe that continuous education and training are absolutely essential for the success of startups. We support them by providing the necessary tools to properly structure their businesses from the outset, develop precise business plans, effectively manage their cash flow, understand the market, refine their value proposition, and develop their strategy. These elements allow young companies to quickly adapt to market changes and overcome the challenges inherent in their growth. 

Over the past two years, we have witnessed startups evolve from the idea stage to successful execution thanks to rigorous training and tailored mentorship provided by Turbine. For example, two promising startups that we have supported and coached have successfully raised significant funds thanks to continuous education and strategic support that we provided. These two startups are Sealife Organics, which specializes in seaweed-based fertilizers, and Innofeed, which develops innovative solutions for animal feed. 

These entrepreneurs were able to structure their businesses more effectively, which was crucial to their growth and success. This reinforces our belief that skills development is crucial for the sustainability of businesses.

The GIC includes a 3-day bootcamp for local, regional, and international startups ready to scale. What advice would you give to these startups?  

My main advice would be to focus on the clarity of their value proposition and be prepared to pivot quickly based on the feedback they receive.
